Pussification of America.

It's been a while since I got serious in a blog. There is so much going on in the United States right now that I literally have been overwhelmed. Well I'm fired up right now, and that tends to get my creative juices flowing so here it goes. This Country has become one giant pussy.
Yes, I realize that is vulgar, but I do not apologize. In simply two days here I have read article after article, and watched news story after news story of just how pussy this Country has become.  Government trying to stop football because people get injured, entire cities held hostage by terrorists known as Occupy Protesters, people being arrested for defending themselves in THEIR OWN HOME!
What is it going to take America? Just WHAT is going to wake you up to realize what you have become? France just elected a Socialist President, guess what we are three years ahead of them, and some of you are either too stupid to notice, or you just don't care.
Do I like Mitt Romney? No. Did I vote for Mitt Romney in the Primaries? No. Am I going to vote for Mitt Romney in the General Election, HELL YEAH I AM! Obama must go, Socialism must go, the Communist Mindset of the Left HAS TO GO! If that offends you GOOD! It is meant to.
Hank Williams Jr. was fired from his job at ESPN for speaking out against Obama, Ted Nugent was called in and questioned after speaking out against the Occupation of the Washington, people were arrested for having more then 30 days worth of food in their house because they were prepping for the worst. Guess what, this in not the actions of a Republic, this is the actions of a Fascist  DICTATORSHIP that "Hope" and "Changed" their way into control, and now are moving "Forward" for another 4 years and beyond.
Ryan, you sound pissed, YES I AM, why? Please come here so I can slap you.
WAKE UP AMERICA, Smell the Socialism, Get away from the Government teat, be self sufficient and remember the sacrifice many brave men and woman gave us for YOUR Freedoms! We are NOT an Islamic Country, we are NOT a Socialist Country, we are NOT cowards, and we sure as hell are acting like it.
So on that note, wave a middle finger in the air, and wave it like you just don't care. Take your Country back America before it's too late.

Reality T.V.

Since it seems like Hollyweird is completely out of ideas for television shows, and can only come up with reality shows, I have come up with a few ideas for them that I for one would love to see.

"Wal-Mart Greeter". We follow the life of a Wal-Mart greeter and see his or her trials and tribulations of daily life as a Wal-Mart Greeter.

"Stay At Home Dad". People think that those of us that happen to be stay at home dads, have absolutely nothing in life to do., They could just see what it takes to be a guy in a predominately woman's roll.

"The Soetoros". We follow Barry Soetoro and his Shaved Sasquatch wife as they scam the American People in an Illegal Presidency under false aliases. We learn how to spread Socialism, Race Pimp, and how to make false identification.

"The Jacksons" we have cameras following the day to day lives of Jesse, and Jesse Jr. I would by similar to American Chopper, but instead of building motorcycles, they compete against each other for the claim of destroying the most white folks, and who can publicity whore themselves the most.  Special guest star Al Sharpton.

There are many more, but I don't want to over load the system with award winning shows.

The Angry American

YES I stole the title from Toby Keith, I'm sure he won't mind. It's been a bit since my last blog because quite frankly I don't think anyone want's to hear bad things on a constant, and as I sit here typing I am trying so hard to find something positive to write about, however I can't. We are in rough waters people, and our mast has snapped in half, and the Captain is plotting mutiny. (Self pat on the back for the nautical reference)
You can disagree with me all you want, but there is no way to truly deny the fact that we are a country in chaos right now. It's taboo to speak about it, but we are in fact in the middle of a Holy War. Not just in the Mid East, but right here in our own country. The Devil has a hold on the Democrat Party, and they have given up.
The left has coined some catchy phrases like "homophobic" and "Islamophobic" etc. As one that creates a lot of my own terms (If you know me you know what I am talkafacating about).  Lets start with "homophobic". If you don't agree with a persons homosexual lifestyle, then you are a "homophobe".   I personally do not hide that, I feel it's wrong, HOWEVER, if that is what you feel you must do, then hey, you have NO ONE to answer to, but our Lord and Creator when that day comes. I know I will have plenty to discuss with the Big Man myself.
This brings me to marriage. Marriage, is a Holy Union between ONE man, and ONE woman.  Please do not dictate, what my religion is to believe on this, you want the Church out of Politics, well then keep your politics out of my Church.  I'm not totally heartless though, I truly believe that Homosexuals should be allowed a Civil Union, but it under no circumstances should ever be called Marriage.  (Same exact thing I just told Governor Quinn recently) So on that note, guess I'm proud to be a "Homophobe" because my God told me the truth.
"Islamophobic",  this is one of my favorite Leftist catch phrases. Used by those that obviously have NO clue what they are defending. Islam is NOT a Religion, (Once again argue if you must, but I'm stubborn on my opinion).  Let me repeat that, Islam is NOT a Religion. It is a sick twisted political ideology based on control and perversion. At no point has Islam ever been the "Religion" of Peace.  Stoning women, for simply speaking to a man that is not her husband, grown men, RAPING CHILDREN, is NOT Religion. Yes there are Christian Extremists, but for the most part, Christians do NOT feel that their Religion must destroy all others.
Here is some irony for you. The same people that coined these two terms, are not quite aware what the Islam "Religion" does to the homosexuals I spoke about.  This to me shows how simple minded Liberals are, and I truly feel Liberalism is the Political party of Satan himself.  Until we can defeat Liberalism, this Country will continue to slide down the slippery hill of Destruction. Liberalism can only be compared to Nazism. It is the EXACT same mind set, except instead of the target being Jews, it is Christianity with this regime.  Well, as I said a holy war.

Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
with the cross of Jesus going on before.
 Christ, the royal Master, leads against the foe;
forward into battle see his banners go...

Choking The Wife

Yesterday I made a comment about choking my wife because she was complaining about what I was cooking for dinner. I was told off by a few people about that comment, and my response was this. Have you EVER known me to choke anyone, and if yes when and where? Of course only one person could come up with any account of my choking someone, and that was a very long time ago and he was an idiot. I would never choke, nor do anything physically to my wife. Even the couple of times she took advantage of that and slapped me, she remained in one piece and unharmed.
That brings me to a thing called "Figure of Speech".  figure of speech is the use of a word or words diverging from its usual meaning. It can also be a special repetition, arrangement or omission of words with literal meaning, or a phrase with a specialized meaning not based on the literal meaning of the words in it, as in idiom, metaphorsimile, hyperbole, or personification. In other words, the use of words I chose were not intended as it's literal content. Just like when someone says they are going to choke the chicken, they do not literally mean they are going to find a chicken and choke it, they mean, well you get the picture.
So with that being said, I would never choke my wife, may say I will choke my wife, but I value my life too much to actually do so. Even with her 20 years of College and multitude of degrees she can go from Professional to Ghetto Fabulous in about 10 seconds, and I don't care to see that side of her. As for her complaining about what I cook, she can do that all she wants but she does know that I make what I make and anyone that don't like it knows where the refrigerator is but being female she is compelled to complain anyway. Us guys understand that and except it. It's as much part of life as anything else lady related.

Friends

I'm quite sure that as adults most of us can look back on our lives and think of all of the friends we lost contact with. Then there are the friends that even though we love them, would not complain if we did lose contact as well. The most important friends though are the ones that no matter what the situation, or where you are in the world still stay in touch if not just to say hello, and ask how you are doing.
As I look back on the friendships I've developed over the years I have come to realize that I don't really have a certain type of person I look for. Some of my friendships would probably be considered strange by others for the simple fact that my friend and I were so much different. However these friendships don't often last that long.
I am as most of you know a very outgoing person, however as outgoing as I seem to be I do have a habit of keeping to myself other then social media. My true friends are the ones that don't care about that and respect that I'm not one that goes out often, and most of what I do in life is about my kids. As many friends as I have though I can honestly say that I have 4 really good friends that I know no matter what would always be there for me. I can't tell you how much I appreciate these friends, and you know who you are so I won't embarrass you by mentioning your name. I will however give a run down of why I find these friends to be my best friends.
Friend #1 Has been one of my best friends since we were kids on the South Side of Momence, collecting GI-Joes and Star Wars action figures. A friend I can trust with secrets, and who I can count on when I need help with something I just can't figure out. This friend is beyond friend he is family, and even though we don't get to hang out like we used to, Its good to know if I need him he will be there. I thank you.
Friend #2 Actually kind of a strange situation, I met him because he started dating a woman that was married to another friend of mine (Until I found out some disturbing things about him). We have a lot in common. We both come from homes that may not have been the greatest, we both share the love of our children, and we both really love the same sports. This is the person that will drop what ever he is doing to help me out, even when he could not get off of work to help me move, still showed up to help me load up the truck. No questions asked, no favors expected in return. A true friend. I thank you.
Friend #3 I kind of inherited him when a family member moved away. He would show up out of nowhere with a pizza because he just wanted someone to hang out with and talk to. Once he realized he did not have to buy my friendship, he really allowed me to see his good side, and what he is all about. He messed up a lot as a youngster and his reputation proceeded him into his adult hood and it was something it took him moving away to shake. We still talk on the phone like school girls at least once a week, and even discussed him coming to stay with us for a while. I would never ask this friend for anything but he is the kind of guy that if he heard something came up there would be a check in the mail and saying no is not an option. We have a mutual respect for one another, and I thank you.
Friend #4 Another odd situation. When I decided to go back to school as an adult, I ended up befriending a crazy group of misfits, myself included and even though he is allot younger then me has a heart of gold.  I know he has gone through quite a bit in his life, and endured some picking on when he was in school, and yet has grown into a man that I am proud to call friend. I think of him as a little brother, he actually understands my sense of humor, and can hang with my sarcasm better then most, and for that I thank you.

Like I said I don't want to mention names because some things are left (Kinda) private, but when you read this you will know who I'm talking about, and also for that, I thank you.

Life in General.

Growing up my family had one single entity holding everything together that was my Grand Mother, Great Grandmother to be exact because I never knew my Grandmother. She was the one go to person that kept me from being the person I very well could have become, and helped mold me into the person I am today. To this day the biggest loss in my life was the day she passed away. Nothing has been the same since, and it truly saddens me that she never got the chance to meet my daughter Caitlyn, and my Son Jaxon. She would have really gotten a kick out of them.
Living in dysfunction takes it's toll on a boy and unless you have lived you you just can not fathom this statement, and I don't care what a book tells you, or some college professor. (I'd rather not go into detail) Depression, anger, hate, sadness, and a variety of other emotions take a hold of you. I always thought that one person in my life kept those emotions from consuming me.
Now as an adult looking back on life it has really dawned on me that yes, Grandma was my rock but she was not alone. There were many others, and there is not a doubt in my mind that this was God's plan and everyone that came in and out of my life did so for a reason. Everyone that stood by me, from teachers, to coaches, to friends helped mold me into the man I am today, and the realization of just exactly how powerful the statement "it takes a village to raise a child" really is.
What exactly makes someone "family"? Is it blood, marriage, etc. etc. etc?? The generic definition is two parents, their children and others related by sib ship or marriage. I strongly disagree. To me "family" consists of anyone that you care about, or cares about you and that luck I spoke of continued in the fact that I grew up in a small town in which it's members essentially became my "family".  To this very day those same people are the same ones to offer comfort, congratulations, or support and it makes me wonder if everyone has that in their life or not.
Anyone that knows me, knows one of my biggest joys in life as an adult is coaching football. I have done a lot of thinking about that lately and I have finally come to the conclusion to why that is. Yeah, I love the sport that is a given, but walking onto that field subconsciously brings back a comfort that I only felt growing up when I played football. I had some really great coaches, and was very lucky to know some of them, and I try to mold my coaching techniques based on a few of them. One of them of course is the late great Jack Cherry. He could yell at you and have you cracking up all at the same time, but his passion spilled out with every motion, yell, or whistle blow.
No matter what, dysfunction will always be part of my life, and something I have to continuously work on, from being angry, depressed, or being overwhelmed with anxiety, but no matter what I have to be thankful for everyone in my life past and present, and it such a calming feeling knowing that I'm alive and doing well thanks to the wonderful people that God has placed in my life. So if you are reading this, my thoughts and feelings matter to you, and I just want you to know how much I appreciate that and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Children's Programming.

Is it just me or has the quality of Children's programming gone WAY down hill since the majority of us were children? I mean seriously what is this crap? Where is the entertainment in these programs?  Being a father of a Six year old and an 18 Month old, not to mention two Teenage Sons that watch the same programming as our Six year old because she runs the house, I see a LOT of "kids shows" and man, I think I am getting dumber because of it.
Let's start with a couple of the ones I think are good for the kids, and I will explain why.
- "The Imagination Movers" These are four guys from the South that put this show together, and employs people from the New Orleans area providing employment for a region destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Kudos for that, but this show teaches problem solving, and love of music.
-"Thomas and Friends".  This show about a little tank engine and his friends in my opinion is one of the best children s shows on today, and I find myself watching with my kids. The show ALWAYS has a wonderful lesson.
-Not, just one show, but an entire channel known as "Sprout". When the Sprout channel is on I know that I don't have to worry about any of the content being shown. Except for one certain show that makes my blood boil and when it comes on everyone in the house yells, BARNEY IS ON QUICK CHANGE THE CHANNEL!!!
Yes I know there are many more, but I don't want to bore you, and that brings me to the shows that will never be on in my house and I will explain why.
- "Barney", as mentioned before this program makes my blood boil, and honestly think it was created by Pedophiles. Barney, a big purple pedophile dinosaur stalks children and does crafts with them in order to be able to rub up on them as he gives them "hugs".
- I will lump these shows together because I feel they all serve the same purpose of indoctrination of our Children to except illegal immigration and Communism .  "Dora the Explorer", "Diego" and "Ni Hao Kai Lan".
And like the good programming I could add many more to this list but you get the picture.

Now that brings me to the stuff that the kids probably should not watch, but since the parents can also enjoy it they luck out to peruse it's programming, that one especially being "Sponge Bob Squarepants". Yes I admit my kids love Sponge Bob, and at times the content is questionable but dang it, That show entertains the heck out of me!
One cool thing is it seems like all of the shows I loved as a kid are making a comeback in new forms, or in rerun. It is so great to me that I can sit with my kids and relive some of my childhood memories with the new versions such as GI-Joe, Transformers, Thundercats, the Smurfs, etc. Yeah I'm sure you can tell I'm a big kid at heart and I want my kids to be able to have the same wonderful memories of shows like I was lucky enough to have, and memories of crap shows are just not fair to them at all.
